One Unique Token

Before you picture me with a black beret and a machine gun, know that I am not a militant. However, the idea of this blog is to be a window into what one token thinks about the world around her.

As a proud Black girl with many White friends, much of my token status comes from my race and gender, so if you don’t want to read about my skin color and my pair of X chromosomes, I suggest you go somewhere else.

I’m also no freedom fighter. I’m a former arts reporter who can’t function without a soundtrack. I’m a reader, a writer and a compulsive viewer, so this blog is going to focus on media through my filter and popular culture passing through my periphery.
